Sorry guys, with softball I have not been able to attend.

For now I'm going to post that bike night will be:

 Wednesday Night at the Vine from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

until otherwise posted....

Spring is finally here!!!! 

 though it doesn't feel like it yet...   I thought I would post a 2 month schedule so everyone would know where bike night is and people could plan ahead for their favorite spots.

Wednesdays starting at 5:30

4/03/2013   The Vine, Coralville Strip
4/10/2013   Shorts Burger East side (by Blackstone) I.C.
4/17/2013   Back Pocket Brewery, Coralville
4/24/2013   The Vine, Coralville Strip

5/15/2013     Azul Tequila, North Liberty

If you notice, there is a pattern.  The first and last Wednesday of the month is at the vine.  That way if your in doubt about the schedule you can at least make 2 nights a month.

BIKE NIGHT IS BACK!!!!

Spring is around the corner and before you know it we'll be riding again....  some of you never quit.

lets plan on having the first BIKE NIGHT of 2013 at Vesta.

August 12, 2012 Peoria TT

Jane and I rode to Peoria on the weekend of August 12 to spend some time with our daughter and her husband.  On Sunday I made the trip out to the Peoria Motorcycle Club grounds to watch the Peoria TT races.

 The track has no seating it sits in a natural valley and the hillsides provide stadium like seating.

 An example of the vintage race bikes on display

 The starts make for some exciting racing

 The track is wide and there are often multiple fast lines through the corners

And the jump.  Peoria has the only jump and the only right hand corner on the AMA Flat track circuit

Unfortunately family duty called and I didn't get to stay for the finals, but the racing as good and the folk in Peoria put on a good show once the racing starts.
